One plus 9 upcoming phone truth'

So this week we've got more confirmations on the specs of the oneplus 9   along with a new feature that we've never seen on a smartphone before we get started though please   like the video if you're a fan of oneplus let me know down in the comments what device you're   actually watching today's video on so the first story of the day for those that missed   it is actually about the 8T concept instead of the oneplus 9.   

pete lau published a tweet of   a concept that oneplus have created to try out new technologies and the result is a phone that   actually changes color now this cool effect is achieved by having glass on the rear with   a metal oxide film underneath and this changes color once voltage is applied the idea is that   the shifting color could be for a notification or an incoming call alert using the electromagnetic   glass technology well it's nice to see 

something different on a smartphone this is just a concept   and it's not a phone that's expected to ever go on sale personally i don't see it making it to   the consumer market in this current form while it is cool to see in reality the additional cost   and the extra battery drain probably isn't going to be desirable to the consumer well we previously   had news that oneplus could be teaming up with leica for the cameras in the oneplus 9   we've now got some detailed specs on the camera as we saw previously the oneplus 9 is being branded   ultra shot and it shows us that oneplus are still working on making the camera improvements that   we all wanted to see the latest leak actually provides a lot more specific details it appeared   on slash leaks and advises us that they will be getting a 50 megapixel wide angle camera with   an aperture of f 1.9 we get a 20 megapixel center camera with an ultra wide lens and an aperture of   f 1.8 and finally we get a 12 megapixel telephoto with optical image stabilization and an aperture   of f 3.4 the leak has come from slash leaks so it's still unconfirmed at the moment but as soon   as we get some solid info i'll be sharing straight away next up we've also got news of a 33 watt warp   charger passing certification but it's not clear if this is for the oneplus 9. we've had many   rumors of the oneplus 9 coming with a 65 watt warp charger so this would be a lot less than hopeful   we have to remember though that oneplus have many different models so this could easily be something   else it could be for one of the nord phones or maybe even the oneplus 9e that we've been   hearing of now unfortunately again i've got no information to share about the oneplus 9e and all   we really know is that it's likely to be a budget model in the range many other manufacturers have   had success with this type of release model with a few different ones to suit every budget so i guess   oneplus is trying to do the same it's interesting that we still got no details though so i'm unsure   if this can release alongside the oneplus 9 or if it could be later on but again as soon as we get   some solid information i'll be sharing .

straight away we do know however that the oneplus 9 is   coming in march 2021 we've already got plenty of details on the design and the specs of both models   for those interested we'll run through them now to help you guys decide if this is going to be   the smartphone for you now for my regular viewers you guys would have seen this bit so just jump to   the next video but if you are new here then don't forget to hit subscribe and we're going   to get right into it so to start with we have the standard oneplus 9. the only leak we've had for   the standard oneplus 9 shows a full screen display with the punch or selfie camera and it's a 6.5   inch 120 Hz fluid AMOLED display but one thing we haven't had confirmed yet is if it's going   to be a full hd plus or quad hd plus it's going to have hdr 10 support and it's expected to be   protected by gorilla glass 5 with the in-display fingerprint scanner on the back we're reportedly   getting a quad camera setup with two 48 megapixel sensors along with an 8 and a 5. the phone's going   to be powered by the latest snapdragon 888 we're expecting a choice of 8 or 12 gigs of ram and if   the latest leak is correct then we could also see up to 512 gig storage we're expecting roughly a   4 600 milliamp hour battery on the oneplus 9 and reports are suggesting we could get a 65 watt fast   warp charge along with 30 watt wireless charging it's gonna ship with the latest oxygen os based on   android 11 but we're yet to find out if it's going to be ip68 water resistant no pricing information   has been leaked on the standard oneplus 9 but we're expecting to start around 750 to 800   next up we've got the oneplus 9 pro now rumors are stating that the oneplus 9 pro   is going to come with a 6.8 inch 120 Hz fluid amoled display with a quad hd plus resolution   again we get hdr10 support protected by at least gorilla glass 5 in the in display   fingerprint scanner we've got a punch or selfie camera in the top left of the display and many   were hoping for another pop-up selfie camera but all the leaks are suggesting another punch hole   on the rear of the oneplus 9 pro we're expecting a quad camera setup with two main lenses and   an additional two sensors rumors are suggesting that on the pro we'll be seeing an upgrade to 64   megapixel sensors so it could be a 64 plus 64 plus 8 plus 5 set up on the oneplus 9 pro the phone's   going to be powered by the latest snapdragon 888 we're expecting a choice of 8 or 12 gigs of ram   if the latest leak is correct then of course we'll definitely be seeing 512 storage on the pro we're   expecting a 4 800 milliamp hour battery on the oneplus 9 pro reports are suggesting 65 watt   warp charge with 30 watt wireless charging it's again going to ship with the latest oxygen os   based on android 11 and the oneplus 9 pro is very likely to be ip68 water resistant   with no pricing information leaked yet we can only go on estimates we're expecting the oneplus 9 pro   to start around 950 to a thousand dollars so still a lot of information is missing on both models   but as soon as we hear anything i'll be updating you guys straight away many manufacturers are   bringing their releases forward next year and we have news that the oneplus 9 series may actually   be doing the same they'll be changing their launch from april to march of course as soon as we get   some more solid information i'll be sharing it with you guys straight away but as always i'd   like to know your thoughts in the comments
